Can you name 3 of your favorite jewelry designers?
I love jewels designed by Pascale Monvoisin, Ombre claire and Nikki Couppee.
Do you have favourite jewels?
That really is the last straw for a jewelry designer but I almost never wear jewels. But I prefer wearing earrings.
What are the two main qualities to be a good jewelry designer?
Perseverance and creativity.
What would you advise to a new jewelry designer?
To go ahead, not to be afraid. We necessarily do mistakes at the beginning but you have to build your own experience.
If it doesn’t work, nevermind, it is important not to regret.
Is there a jewel you would have loved to create in place of a designer ?
I would love to know how to work in gold and with gemstones.
What is challenging in your job?
It is difficult because competition is fierce. There are many designers and it is a day-to-day work to stand out from the crowd and earn a living.
What is the most rewarding thing in your job?
Knowing that people like my work and that jewels I created with all my heart are worn. Making a living out of your passion is really wonderful.
Why this job and not another one ?
It’s a passion. Actually, I work without noticing it. For now, I am very happy to do this job even if it is sometimes difficult.
What are your projects?
To launch again my website and the production following several months of absence is already a good aim!
